About this site
Eagna is an independent publication which aims to be a forum at the nexus of the Gaelic world and modernity. Gaelicism must meet modernity without surrendering to it, instead recasting modern form in a native image. That work is intellectual before it is anything else, and thus Eagna exists as a forum for argument — for essays, replies, and the long quarrel through which a people recovers its mind.
